Fresh and wellbalanced flavour from barley and oakmalts and a fine aromatic touch of Amarillo Hops. Rich flavour with a good bitter finish. Drink solo as well as accompanied by food. The beer is unfiltered and unpasteurised.

Big white lasting head. Paleish faintly hazy yellow body with carbonation. Mealy herbal aroma with lemony notes. Dry-sweet grassy herbal mealy taste with lemony grainy oily notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry-bitter grassy herbal milky aftertaste with metallic notes. Bitterness lingers for a long time. Nice. Full of character and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly.)

20.05.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Yellow colour with white head. Hazy with some sediments. Very nice bitter pilsner with aroma of ligth pale malts and hops. Very sharp and crisp beer with lots of hoppy flavours and strong bitterness. Good bitter aftertaste that lasts and leaves a dry bitter finish.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Brew #421. ABV is 5.5%. Some sediment in the bottle. Extremely pale yellow colour, slightly hazy, huge white head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar and grassy hops. Despite some malty sweetness in the flavour, there are enough hops to make the beer feel fairly crisp. Very bitter finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow body with a medium, creamy white head which seems to have a tight schedule. Nose is grains and fresh, pale malts and...well, not much else. Taste is much richer, however, with crisp, grassy hops and a smooth, light balance of sweet pale malts which never go into the Realms of Wet Cardboard or the other pitfalls of lager brewing. This beer remains fresh, crisp, light and drinkable - just as a lager should - while offering a lot of smoothness and flavor at the same time. Medium body with just the right balance between fullness and drinkability for this kind of beer, although I’d perhaps enjoy it even more with a bit "more of everything". If this was available at Norwegian grocery stores, it would certainly be a contender to my pilsener of choice in that segment, the Pilsner Urquell.

Quick-review: An okey pilsner, with a good body and a low bitternes. It has a clean, fresh taste with fruity notes of tropical fruit.

Clear golden color with a small white head. Clean fruity pilsener aroma of hops and malt. Taste: very dry, low sweetness, high bitterness - higher than I would expect from a pilsener. A little watery taste. High carbonation. Ok beer but not very pilsenerlike.

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Old bottle but has held up quite well. Pale gold colour. Slightly hazy. Pleasant light, fruity hop aroma. Clean fruity flavour. Some bitterness. Decent stuff.
