Dark brown with a red hue and a moderate head. The beer has no carbonation and is sour like sour milk. The sweetness is OK and all the rest of the notes drown in the sour milk notes. The beer was bought just before Christmas and I "enjoyed" it during Christmas 2004. I really have had bad luck in buying beers from Herslev :(

50 cl Bottle. A lot of yeast in bottom. Dark red/brown colour.Fast diappearing foam. Sweet and sour aroma hints of caramel and anis. The body are little to flat some sour complex ale, This is not one of my favorites......

Dark red brown beer, cloudy with a nice brown head. Sweet aroma, some chocolate with hints of anise, licorice, raisins and coreander. Flavor is less sweet than expected, citrus notes more dominant here, more licorice and coriander. full body, short dry finish. By far the best Herslev i have tried, and one of the better danish attempts on making a belgium style beer. Not bad at all!
