Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a dark reddish amber color with a small off-white head head. Has a fruity malty spicy weak sour bretty aroma. Fruity malty woody spicy bretty flavor. Has a fruity malty woody caramal finish with sour bretty hints.

On tap. Pours reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is huge brett, hay, balsamic, some sweet malty notes behind, rural and vinegar. Taste is brett, light tartness, woody, vinegar, balsamic, some sweet nutty caramel notes behind which seem a bit messy, cherry and light vanilla.

Dark brown with a red hue and almost no head.
Tart red wine nose. Taste is sweet redwine ending long, bretty and just a tad tart. Even the rest of the Ulkløbbers accept this slightly tart brew as a beer.
Faint nail polish remover.
Really a surprise. The most positive surprise of the evening. The underlying Stjernebryg has gone but something more complex has shown up in stead. Could have rated it higher?
Fine and complex brew.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dark, reddish body with a thin beige head. Aroma has anise, ripe fruit, spices and just a faint hint of acidic brett. Flavor is slightly acidic, spicy, sweet malt and fruity. Not sure if I had recognized the brett if I wasn’t aware of it.
