Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels
Hazy blond color; big compact head. Nice spicy aroma, deep, with more cereals character than wheat, compared to the version at Scheldebrouwerij. Smooth and hightly carbonated beer, some malt, cereals flavor, with light residual sweetness, more than the Scheldebrouwerij.
Quite good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold, nice white with good head retention and decent lacing. Nose is yeasty and some light malt, hops. Mouth is medium, spicy and fruity, Belgian yeast. Lingering bitter finish. Decent.

Very clean golden copper body and fine, medium sized whit head. Nice rich aroma, combining a fruit Belgian yeast with lots of nice fresh European hops. Cake, herbal, leaves and mango. A nice juicy mouth feel with not too much carbonation. Light bitterness but the sweetness is very present to back it up, so my no means an ’American’ bitterness. Very pleasant to drink and well made beer. Lots of flavour. I like it. (33cl bottle)

33cl bottle. Filtered, clear golden and brown, medium white head. Nose : Striking lemon zest notes, soap, fruity mango, peach, mellow cake, some honey. Sip : medium carbonation, low to medium density body with creamy texture. Sweet burned malt flavor with more burned bitter end, fruity candy background and some more bitterness in the end, this time it mixes with hops (grapefruit flavor). Very surprising beer. Nice one.

drank at home in a 33 cl bottle. the label says blond and bitter. welm the colour is blond, and the bitterness is definetly there, but there’s also sweetness .. its a nice brew, nothing waaw, but better than the average. there was no bottle- or good-until-the-end-of-date , but i had my bottle a year so i thought it would be fine. poured it in until i saw shiftings, than stopped, let it rest for a couple of minutes and tasted. a little while after i got sick . not sure id it was due to the beer or somethinbg else, but that will definatly keep me from drinking another ( and if i would i wouldnt let it rest a month ! ) so if you have one, or want to have one, have it before it gets bad... overall it wasnt a bad beer, buit just a bad experience :p

33cl bottle @ Backdoor, Gent. Goldorange, foam head, stupid glass. Fruitaroma, orange, yeast! Bitter. Just not my favorite.

Cloudy amber body with a white head. Yeasty aroma with caramel and orange. Nice yeasty flavour with caramel, banana, orange and a subtle bitterness. Nice.

Spicy aroma, nice refreshing hoppy flavour. Head lasts a while. Decent carbonation.

Bottle, 6.5% brewed at ’t Hofbrouwerijke. Mild hoppy aroma, good spicy hop, Saaz perhaps. Almost clear copper colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off malty with a good baking yeast note. Turns more hoppy, but balanced. Spicy hops, only slightly bitter. A good and well-balanced beer.
