Bottle from Ohtsuki. Metallic aroma, grassy hop with some dry citrus fruit, light golden malt, pepper. Deep golden color, towards a light brown. With high head. Sweet malt flavor up front with honey, peaches, and then a big bitter hop bite. Peppery and metallic. Interesting but the balance could be a bit better

Bottle, 6.5% brewed at ’t Hofbrouwerijke. Mild hoppy aroma, good spicy hop, Saaz perhaps. Almost clear copper colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off malty with a good baking yeast note. Turns more hoppy, but balanced. Spicy hops, only slightly bitter. A good and well-balanced beer.

Uncontainable gushing to two glasses of irregular, rather dense yellowish foam over bottoms of hazy golden-copperish beer. Very stable head with shards of lace; end of bottle solid yeast. Herbal, even grassy nose with hopnotes, and a sens of wild, grassy grains. Dry, bitterish, faintly spicy flavour with clear hoppy & vegetable endbitterness. Touch of indistinct, but quite mild acidity. Medium bodied, bit slick. Longlasting throatbitterness; however, aftertaste has the only sign of some maltrestsweetness. Quite decent and very easy-drinking blonde. Not if you don’t like bitter - I do.

(33cl bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of perfume, yeast, fruitiness, and florals. Flavor of yeast, earth, star fruit, caramel, and bread with a dry finish.

Bottle. Dark amber with decent white head. Smells hoppy with a Belgian touch. Very stong hops, Belgian yeast and some delicate caramel malt playing hide and seek. I would like to try side by side with DDC DV, although I think this might be a little rougher and less subtle..

Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2011
Bottle: fucking gushers! This bottle stood in my cabinet for at least half a year, all the time to rest, I open this bottle and a big broad ray of beer gushed/left the bottle, only leaving half a bottle of beer.  And it keeps gushing foam, most likely one of the most explosive beers I ever came across. Thus a big white head which disappears very slow! A deep deep hazy yellow to lightly orange colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, hint of gass, some fruits like melon, peach and cactus and hints of lactose and herbs.  Taste is a very nicely balanced mix of fruit, peach, grape fruit, bitter, hops, citrus, cream, hint of soft vanilla and hints of malts and barleys. Nice bitter light fruity hoppy aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium to fuller body and a creamy texture. When you drink it straight after poured in a glass it’s crisp bitter and hoppy fruity. But after leaving it in the glass for a while it seems the malts turn more into caramel and there’s a stronger malt taste as well. Hate the gusher but the beer is pretty good.

Pours a light golden amber color. Aromas of citrus/coriander/some hops. I not big a beers with coriander like tastes. Probably a good beer just not my cup of beer. Almost like a Belgian Wit with a bite.

Clear (slightly hazy) blond body. Nice aroma of hops and caramalts. Heavily bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Ok balance and complexity. Very nice.
