Hazy blond color; big compact head. Nice spicy aroma, deep, with wheat character. Dry mouthfeel, nice spice character with a honey accent; relatively strong bitterness.

Bottle from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy/fizzy head. Aroma of noble hop over sweet caramel with a hint of yeast/spice. Med body. Flavor is yeast/spice, tho not much banana ester. It’s a little earthy, moderately bitter and suggests astringency. As I continue it seems to get ever more bitter. Certainly drinkable.
