Nice dark amber color ( a shame because of colorant) no head retention at all, medium low carbonation. Caramel and dark fruits aroma and flavor, a little bit spicy. I has a dry aftertaste. Nice beer but the alcohol presence in this beer it is almost in the border of solvent.

Bottiglia da 0,50. Scura "dubbel" dall?aroma molto deciso. Schiuma cremosa ma non persistente. Ottima carbonazione. Tostatura accentuata e forte sentore di liquirizia. Molto corposa al palato. Finale sorprendentemente dolce. Consiglio 8/10

From old notes, tasted with Curtis and some friends in Nashville, probably some time near the summer of 2012, from a bottle. Pours hazy copper brown with a very thin beige head that completely disappears. The nose is cola and plenty of bread malt. The flavor is the same bread malt, with the cola coming through as a bit of dried fruit raisin and date. The body is medium with fizzy carbonation and a long lightly spicy raisin finish.

Io non l’ho trovata molto in forma, decisamente sbilanciata, forse ho beccato la bottle sfortunata.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2015 Beautiful cloudy dark red color, average sized brownish head. Full body, lively carbonation. Aroma of malts, yeast, raisins, strawberry, dark fruits. Medium sweet, light bitter taste with dry finish. Very complex and very interesting. Excellent dubbel.

Crystal clear, dark brown body with a small beige head that ends up as a fully lasting thin layer and some foam sticking to the glass. The malty and sugary aroma is moderate, with notes of malt extract, dark fruits and brown sugar. Quite strong flavour of dark fruits, Belgian yeast, orange, brown sugar and alcohol. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter taste. Mid-bodied, oily texture and moderate carbonation, a very light dryness in the finish. Ok beer, lovely bottle.
