*Nice and yeasty fruity beginning. Rich and thick, smooth, moderate bitter. Dark dried fruits, mild yeast, slightly alcoholic. Round and kind of creamy, sweetish fruity and soft. Nice.

Drank with Rik and Lennart 20-6-2016 while watching Game of Thrones S06E09. Mediocre dubbel. Malt taste in the front. A bit sugary. That’s about it. Not much to it.

Biggish beige head. Clear deep red body. Dried fruit and toffee aroma with herbal spicy notes. Sweetish toffee and red berry taste with brown sugar and spice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish toffee and candy with dried red berries aftertaste with herbal spicy notes. Lovely! Delicate, balanced, and full of flavour. (0.5l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle, 500ml. A dark reddish beer with minimal white head. Aroma is of dried fruits, apple juice and a hint of caramel. Taste is moderately bitter and sweet with some carbonation and astringency. Aftertaste reminds me of apple juice. Easy to drink and overall ok.

Bottle, 50cl. Opaque dark reddish with a frothy to minimal brown head. Aromas of dried fruits, roasted caramel, alcohol. Medium bodied with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet with medium bitterness. Sweet roasted and fruity character into a complex alcohol and fruity finish. Very pleasant.
