COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

300 ml bottle. BBE 07/2013.
Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a very small beigeish head. Aroma of sweet dried fruits and alcohol. Flavour of sweet malts, sweet dried fruits, alcohol, chocolate, nuts and brown sugar. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a long, warming, dry fruity finish. Despite the alcohol this is quite well balanced.

Zoet, wijn of portachtig. Sterk. Ik ga een paar flesjes laten rijpen. Als het bier echt nog beter wordt...

Bottle looks quite simple. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Woody-malty aroma. Starts strong, modest alcoholic, malty with nice caramel notes. Finish milder, quite moldy, a bit soapy. Starts good, but finishs bad.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE juni/11, given to me by sayravai, thanks, 20111007) The beer poured dark brown and quite clear. Its head was lightly brown and medium sized. Aroma had malts, raisin, chocolate and dried plum. Palate was full bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, raisin, dried plum, dark chocolate and quite low bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, chocolate and bitterness. Tasty brew that hides its abv quite well.

Bottle for lunch. Pours dark red brown with a nice tanned head leaving lacing. Aroma is sweet, malty, chocolate, freshly baked bread, raisins and coffee. Flavor is sweet, bready, malty, chocolate, coffee, raisins, bitter and has a good touch of alcohol. Finishes bitter sweet with a nice warming alcohol touch.

Bottle 50cl, a clear amber brown beer without head. Nose is very nice just caramel like and sweet. Aroma is on dark candy sugar, toffee, caramel, dry grapes, apricot, very pleasant beer, near to the best quadruples beers, some smoked malt hints, very enjoyable.

Smells like aweful old cheese. Flavours of burnt malts and caramel. Glad it tastes better than it smells.
