COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750ml corked bottle. dark from with amber tones. very little head. sweet malty aroma. flavor very fruity and sweet. ends with a slightly bitter finish. some slight warming, but no direct alchol flavor. thing but sticky body. lacks complexity, but not unrefined. If i can find this in a chepa 6er, i might just have a new fridge beer.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2006 Dark brown, red appearance. Aroma is spicy, not too much. The flavour is fruity, almost wine/port like. The finish is a bit bitter. Overall pretty good.
Tasted 2,5 year old one at the Hertog Jan brewery in the cellars, very very nice! Port like aroma and smell. Very smooth.

understated aroma:lightly malty, some ripe fruit. Pours a ruby brown, thin head. Flavour is fruity, mainly prunes. Quite dry in the finish and alcohol is non-existent. A refined beer that is subtle in its presentation.
