Dark orange coloured. Fruity aroma and flavour. Rather thin. Slightly metallic finish.

Bottle: Found some old notes from years (!) ago. Now, there is no reason to add this rating (retired) other than for my own list of “had it” beers. Sweet malty in the nose and sweet fruity bitter in the taste.

pilz like appearance, nothing special...aroma is nice with hints of wheat and hop, some sweetness...tastes pretty bitter, wheaty... finish is mediumlong and bitter but not very complex... nice beer, nothing special, refreshing

Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2005
30 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Amber colour with a weak head. Caramel aroma with some maltyness. Also malty aroma with caraeml notes, ends up metallic and unpleasant.

Papsoe (22983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2005
(Bottle 30 cl) Fully golden - almost amber - with a decent head. First sip promises sweetness and fullness, but the beer doesn’t really deliver. What’s left is a dry, aromatic ale with a touch of hops. Sympathetic but a bit thin. 240801

JorisPPattyn (6736) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 19, 2005
Very old sample, shame on me Thin layer of yellow-orange foam on light foxy-amber beer, fast gone. Caramel, sweet bread, toffee, biscuit & oxydized notes, ending vaguely sourish nose. Cookies, sweet, caramel, bit of sweet lemon (does that exist?), and very, very dull. Very light & empty mouthfeel. This is so dull, that even ageing has not changed the result for a dime.

Clear yellow, sparkling, low head. Some bitterness in the palate. Weak flavour and finish. Boring.

ThomasE (5176) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2004
Dark orange colour with small head. Aroma has some flowers and malt. Flavor is sweet with some fruit. palate is smooth which makes this an easy drinking ale.

Ungstrup (23975) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 25, 2004
A dark orange beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of fruit. The flavor is just like the aroma. This is a boring Belgian light ale.

A bad beer. Acidic and metallic.
