Slightly darker yellow than most Dutch pilsners. Clear with a white head that dissipates quickly. Watery but well balanced flavour. Nice carbonation and feels smooth in the mouth. Nice bitter finish.

Can, bought @ an Albert Heijn, Amsterdam.
Pours clear golden with a medium, frothy white head that stays for a fine amount of time. Aroma is sweet and quite malty. Some grassy notes but also a little vegetable. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel - lightly dry. Flavour is a tad too sweet for my liking. Sugary at first, then malty before a very slight citric and grassy bitterness kicks in. Could be better.

500 ml can. From the Netherlands (J). BBE 08/2009. Clear pale golden colour with white head. Grainy malty and fruity hoppy aroma. Malty and crispy fruity hoppy flavour. Good Dutch Pilsener.

From tap@de Sluyswacht, Amsterdam. One-finger blond short-lived head. Body is deep gold with good clarity. Clean, quite weak malt aroma. Some barely noticeable, hayish hops. Not very flavorfull. Semi-dry pale malts, with a minimum of bittering hops. Lively mouthfeel. Body is light plus. Fairly clean-tasting, otherwise a very ordinary Pilsner.

Dark yellow colour, medium carbonation, low non remanent white head. Very light body (really watery), Aroma: slightly hoppy, Flavor: corn, sweet... nothing special really.

Dark yellow / golden color. Good aroma and bitterness. Nice aftertaste. My favorite Dutch pilsner.

Tap. Nice pilsner, slightly more bitter than a lot of other, weak, pils. Not my favourite, Grolsch, but it is close to it. Refreshing.
