COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hertog Jan is a brand for beer lovers with an appreciation of natural, tasteful beer. This is a fruity aromatic bottom-fermented pils characterised by a golden color, full body and pleasantly bitter aftertaste. It should be served at 4 to 6C (39 to 43F).

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein kräftig goldgelbes Pils mit hoher, mittelporiger Krone und viel emporsteigendem CO2. Der Geruch zeigt sich hopfig süßlich. Der Antrunk erfolgt angenehm frisch aromahopfig, leicht sü. Der Abgang ist angenehm herb hopfig ausklingend. Überraschend gutes Pils!

Tap @ beer temple. Pour yellow, and taste like the typical mass consumer lager. Lot good at All.

On tap. Light yellow colour. Stable white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma is mild: mainly malts. Taste containt malt and some fruitiness, again heavy carbonation. Finish is short, light bitter and dry. Very good, easy-to-drink pilsener.

33 cl bottle. Pale golden clear liquid with medium egg white head. Aroma of cereal malt, biscuits, noble hops, corn and metal. Dry and light to medium bitter. Not much going on in the taste. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Standard euro lager, not that good.

Clear golden body. Medium white head. Great lacing. Aroma is of malt and grass. Very pleasant. Taste is mild. Easy to drink. Balance of malt and hops that stays on your palate. Enjoyable.
