Drinkt fijn. #2 Tap @ Staccato, mooi 30cl glas, ongefilterd, aardige kraag die redelijk snel weggaat. Aroma en smaak als rating #1. Prima terras bier in warm weer (27C).

Bottle @ home. Aroma is lemon, slight banana, herbs. Flavour is light hop bitterness, creamy wheat and banana, some lemon. Nice and fresh weizen.

Test vom 5.12.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,13,12,13,-,12 - 12,31

Though it’s obvious immediately that this is actually white beer instead of weizener, this is a darn good white beer! And I really don’t give a crap if I ordered weizener and instead get a good white beer. It’s better than most weizener, but that’s also because weizener is German and white beer is Belgian. Belgian beers are way better than German beers. I drank this beer on draught. Beer on draught is always refreshing, so I don’t really know if the beer itself is that refreshing. Though I can’t think of a white beer that isn’t refreshing. This beer, especially on draught, would kick ass on a hot summers day on a terrace. And a reminder to myself: don’t stick with just one. Just take another, you’ve earned it big guy!

Poured hazy pale yellow with dissipating white bubbly head. Citrus yeast aroma. Very light mouthfeel, low carbonation.

nice orange-hazy color with a small foam layer, drank a 0,5 l from draft. Fresh aroma with a hoppy smell. Hop is very apparant in the taste, pretty good beer but non theless nothing special.

Second beer in one of my random tasting evenings: brown 30cl bottle, best before 3rd July 2011, drank and reviewed 31st Jan 2011. Poured into a stemmed tulip (Hoegaarden Grand Cru). Cloudy body, dull old gold in colour, clean white crown of bubbles on top. The smells were of yeasts and wheat, as the beer warmed some vanilla and banana esters began to appear, not as strong as many Weizenbiers, but the smells are there. The taste is a mix of typical hefeweizen flavours with a heavier than normal malt content added for good measure. Full bodied and full of flavours, an interesting variation to the German dominated style. Really enjoyed it.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
