Hertog Jan Weizener

Bottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow colour, thick white head. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavour is citrus, wheat, soft and sweet. A very decent and refreshing Witbier.

Bottle@Home. Sweet banana and weizen aroma. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, banana, wheat, light bitter. Full mouthfeel. Flavorful, refreshing, not exceptional but has all that’s to be expected.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow white with a medium white head. Aroma was sour citrus fruit and wheat. Taste is citrus and wheat, just balanced enough not to be a drinkable.

Bottle from Albert Heijn/Amsterdam. Hazy orange body. Some head. Sour nose. Taste of fruit, some marsepin. A bit sweet, quick finish. Quite dull. But, not bad for a major brewer though.

Lekker potje weizen. Kan er bij wel vaker in.
