Bottled. Golden and very clear appearance, but minimal white head. Aroma with elements of hay, grass, peach (and banana). Heavy sweet, lightly bitter, with a light bitter aftertaste

Bottled. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head. A nice smoky, malty aroma. Sweet ish in the mouth with good fruits and a nice malty body. Really easy to drink and far better and more enjoyable than the sum of its parts which is a real skill.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 imawayforapint (17) - , Alberta, CANADA - AUG 9, 2008
Good session bitter. Blew most of my Summer earnings at the brewery tap drinking Doris’ health when doing fieldwork for uni there.

Many pints at the Brewery Tap itself in Hesket Newmarket. A fine session bitter. Fairly well balanced malt in the mouth and hops leading through to a dry fruit finish. Goes particularly well with the Rogan Josh served in the Crown Inn.

Cask, Alloa Beer Festival. Clear gold chestnut, thin white head. Peachy fruity hop, some sweet strawberry malt and some seaside nose. Mouth is malty sweetness, sweet palate, nothing to note here. Brackish, some grassiness.

Amber coloured slightly sweet and creamy on the palate. Malty finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2004
A copper coloured best bitter. Quite malty, but a bit of butterscotch and the malt seems rather undeveloped. Some hops come through in the flavour, but this wasn’t ready in my view. Cask (gravity dispense) at Peterborough Beer Festival.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - AUG 26, 2004
Peterborough Fest. Sulphury nose. Some chocolate and oaky notes in an otherwise slightly fizzy and acidic best bitter. Looking at Per’s comments, I would say that this is a beer that doesn’t travel well.
