Dec 10, 2007 Cask and bottle in the brewpub. The cask was going off so he opened a bottle so we could try how its ment to be. Cask rating: Vinigar, tart vinous fruit, cellar and red wine vinigar. Bottle rating: Alround: Malty fruity beast, tart fruit still and more alc than expected. Both bottle and cask were 6%.

Mid to dark brown and strong in alcohol. Fruity with a slightly dry full malt finish.

Jun 29, 2005 Cask@Kingston Beer Festival, London. Slightly smoky aroma, with some caramel/mocha/chocolate/liqourice. These flavours translate to the palate. Rich full bodied and as Per points out some noticable saltyness in the finish, very nice indeed, a good find.

Dark mahogany coloured.
Lovely complex aroma. Really salty. Fruity and very roasty. Full bodied. Lingering salty licorice in the finish.
