On tap. Black body with tan head. Coffee, dark fruit, chocolate, spicy aromas. Medium bodied. Dark fruit, spicy dark bread, semi sweet chocolate flavors, mild plastic to finish--off good

Growler at Black Friday tasting. Lots of coffee, coffee grounds that is. Weird fruitiness in there. Flavor is all around messy.

Really enjoyed this one! Tons of spicy rye, cocoa, crushed pepper, vanilla, deep fudge, Starbucks, and Hershey’s syrup. Medium to heavy body...really had fun with this one.

Damn right! Tap at Hess. Rich, dark brown pour with a nice brown head. Aroma hits with loads of fudge, rye, roast, light coffee. Full flavored and very full bodied. Fudge, rye, dark espresso, tons of roasty goodness in this one. Unique and freaking delicious!

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a black body with a thin, tan-nish to yellow head. Aromas are floral, estery, alcohol, spicy with some fudge notes. Interesting, different and complex. Spicy, tea notes and a bit dank hops. Flavors are really pretty balanced with a slightly dry leaning, some floral notes. I don’t say this often (at all) but there is an interesting house flavor to this one (take that as you will, smells like the bathroom air freshner a bit). Bitter, lightly fruity, very bitter chocolate notes. Medium bubbles, big bodied. Serious beer. Unique RIS but quite good.

Not a bad imperial... but there are better. Nice though if its on tap Has nice flavor, rye does mellow it out but most imperials dont need a mellowing.

tap @ the Local Habit. An amazing Stout. Pours a deep viscous coffee brown with a creamy tan head. Great nose of cocoa dust, toffee, roasted rye. Heavy on the palate but not overly sweet.

On tap at brewery. Tried regular co2 and nitro. Completely different animal for each, but each awesome. Rating is for co2. Pour black with soy sauce head. Nose prunes brown sugar and light roast malt. Taste mix of sweet dark fruit and big bitter malt. Lovely sharp darkness.

On nitro at brewery. Cloudy dark brown with a creamy tan head. Nice earthy roasted grain and coffee aroma and taste with a dry earthy bitterness to the finish.
