Pours a lovely amber color. Like the Claritas, the aroma is minimal but the taste is nice and bright. A bit of caramel notes. This would be really great with Mexican food.

Light brown in color, khaki head to go with it. Toasted malt aroma, fairly creamy, with some mild roast. Plenty of toffee, a nice nutty character, and some semi-sweet chocolate. Good sweet creamy toffee flavor. A bit of roast, chocolate, and coffee. Plenty of toasted malt and nuts to the flavor profile, too.

Draft. Very light colored brown ale. This was my first cream ale so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Interesting flavors of toasty citrus. Far from their best beer but unique.

Light brown pour, creamy head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bready honey. As Andrew said, this doesn’t seem like a cream ale to me. Nice malty flavors, honey, light fruity notes. Tasty, but off in the category.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap (both nitro and regular) at the brewery. FYI, this isn’t a cream ale in the slightest. Pours with a very deep brown body with a large off-white head. Aromas are lightly roasty, very bready and clean with a hint of coffee/roast. Maybe a light sour note?. Flavors are a little bit spicy (rye?), and even a touch of acidity. Prominent flavors are malt: grainy, roasty and bready. Dry mouthfeel, a bit thin with medium to slightly light carbonation.
