COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very drinkable, high gravity, crisp and spicy rye IPA, hopped generously throughout the brew process and then dry-hopped with over a pound per barrel of Sterling and Chinook hops. Earthy and spicy notes from both the hops and the rye malt, complimented by the floral and piney aromatics.

Keg at the North Park taproom, SD, 15/11/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white head. Nose is light pine, citric peel, straw, bitter orange, toasted malt. Taste comprises light grapefruit, mineral notes, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the close. So so for style, lacks depth and hops.

draft on nitro, maybe being on nitro ruined it for me. Pretty bad, creamy, lightly hoppy, light malt sweet but thick. Alcohol presense is there.

Solid IPA. I’m not getting much of the rye, however. That said, a good one, and definitely recommend.

On tap @ Hess North Park. Cloudy burnt orange color with a white head. Smells of grapefruit and a lot of orange. Slight sweetness and malt character, but there’s a lot of pine and grass as well. The flavor is pretty bitter and hoppy. Tons of pine and grapefruit peel. Slight orange juice sweetness. A touch of tropical fruit and peach as well. A little bit herbal on the finish. Pretty solid.

21 nov 2014, tap. Yellow, clear, some bubbles. Nose is sweet caramel malt, some grassy hops. Ned body, creamy, mildly fizzy. Meh. Reminds me of a cream ale but an ipa version. Mild but bitter pine hops, some pineapple. Actually okay. Tue is decent.

On draft. Dense whipped cream like head that sticks to the glass as thick lace. Wet earth-plus-spice aroma. Creamy mouth feel. Some spicy malts dominate and somehow there isess hop presence than I might have expected. Still wonderful.

Can. The look is clear, golden in color, and has a beige colored head. The smell is hops, fruit, rye, florals, spicy, and ok. The taste is fruit, pine, rye, hops, bitter, earthy, and ok.
