3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very pale golden, frothy head. Light herbal, pale, wheat. Typical Belgian but a cross between a wit and a blonde, so quite interesting. Drinkable although a bit watery body. It’s okay, better than feared. (33cl bottle at La Vaudree II)

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
33cl bottle. Vey clear and hazy orange/green. Medium to big white head. Nose : wet laundry, soap, cooked vegetable, dairy, grain, hay. Another funky smell of herbs or something. Sip : water like body with low carbonation. Little sweet , quite dry with spikes of lemon zest. Finish is medium long and it’s a strange lemon zest and some other funky taste that I can’t find the name for it yet. I would say sage .... This beer confused me. Strange brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a blond and tremendously huge foamy head, which makes it difficult to get the first sip. Yeasty and slightly sour citrus-fruity aroma with notes of pomelos, wheat and mild spicy notes. Slightly sour flavour with a tinge of malty sweetness and yeasty bitterness; light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty, slightly wheaty base with notes of citrus and yeast; dry and slim, sourish fruity finish with traces of herbal hops. Not a very complex but pretty refreshing Saison-like Belgian blond Ale. 09.III.10
