Smells and tastes of citrus and balanced sweet fruit thebeertourist (1796), Oslo, Norway Jul 26, 2006 Bottle. Clear deep golden with a thin white film on top that also cloyed nicely to the sides of the glass. Interesting grassy and fruity (apples and pineapple) aroma. Sweet and fruity flavours, though not as complex as promised by the nose. Dry finish. Quite fizzy, but a bit watery. Despite some flaws it is still a somewhat original blonde. Tejas (600), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 10, 2005 Cool little bottle. Lots of yeast on the bottom. Clear gold color. Not much head. Little yeasty aroma. Dry palate. Bitter, soapy & grainy flavor. This one got better as it warmed up but still not much here that made me it unavoiadable to keep on sipping. Nate (2238), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2004 Nice hoppy nose, citrusy and floral. Some sweetness, yeast. Butterscotch amber, cloudy, with some pretty big chunks settled. Off-white foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts pretty dry, spicy. Swear I can taste dill or some pickling spice. Low acidity, not sweet. Medium bitterness in the finish, dry. After is dry, chalky, with spice notes. Overall, not that great.
