Copper colour slightly hazy. lace leaving off white head. quite herbal. lots of cellar on both aroma and flavour. for such a strong alc percentage, the alcohol is very unnoticeable. sweetish, a bit acidic and slightly bitter.

(Draught) Clear golden with a small, firm and lacy head. Aroma is grassy-herby-hoppy with pilsenery malt and some blond fruitiness. Very fruity and aromatic-hoppy flavor with honeyish maltiness and a touch of acidity. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. An enjoyable, clean, strong and hoppy, aromatic blonde. 5436

Draft. Hazy golden color. Fruity aroma. There are yeast and fruits (lemon ?) in flavor. Not bad.

Clear medium to dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, spicy, herbel, cinnamon light notes, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090307]

A Mes rate. Draught at ZBF.
Bright clean gold with a thin white head. Quite sweet and fruity with some faint spice in the finish. Sweet alcohol, faintly herbal. Oh my GOD!!! Another one of these? Really? The Belgian equivalent of a run of the mill bitter.

Sampled at Zythos 2009. Brilliant bright gold, estery banana aroma. A bit like a lager in the mouth. Very dirnkable though and I would like to try again.

Draught at ZBF09. Sweet hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable creamy white head. The flavour is malty, slightly sweet. Quite well-balanced.

Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has some sweet wheat, light oranges and feels quite vinious. Low carbonation, impressive creamy mouthfeel. Flavour starts rather vinous (and a bit too much). There is some lactic feel to it, though never feels infected, more creamy. Sweet and just a touch spicy. Good balance, but the alcohol sticks out too much.
