Very nice overall. Enjoyed from the Kapittel 4 pack sampler (which is fabulous for a rarer brew). Needs a little more refinement even though alcohol was blended well. More yeasty overall than expected; well played.

Not what i normally get from a Abt Quad, which is a darker, maltier, yeasty beer. Pours a amber orange color great color if it was a pale ale or a really nice pilsner. A bit yeasty with a somewhat roasted hop charecteristic, herby, cough medicine after taste. It awakens the palate with a smooth carbonated fizz. Definetly mild for a Quad but a good brew dont know if i take away point for not fitting the description.

33cl. Pours a cloudy medium cooper with a towering platinum blonde head that slows down your pour quite a bit. Lots of sticky lace all over. Thick whipped-egg-white tufts in the middle of things. Couldnít ask for a prettier beer. Definitely agree with the honey and dust in the nose; no better way to describe it. Attack is sharp; medium body and active carb with flavors very present immediately. Some tart green apple and pear there and in the mid-palate. Plenty of sugars kicking around; the booze isnít horribly forward, especially given the abv, but between the sweetness and the hotness at the end you kind of wonder whether a year or two might mellow down this beast a bit. Kind of an egg-white-y hollowness to the finish; herbs and honey finally make the round trip from the nose there at the finish, too. This is good stuff but it feels a bit like killing a baby opening it now.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and GregClow, courtesy of Jerc. Musty very fruity aroma, some honey, dust. Orange pour, foamy white head. Sweet musty taste, strong alcohol, fruity. Very sweet and strong. Decent, but a little over the top with candy sugar for my liking

Botte at Bier Circus. Cloudy orange. Very rich and fruity. Thick and fiery. Not sure if Iíd say it was an Abt though.. Still, very good. hope I can find this again.

5th beer at party. Lovely spicy aroma. A very nice beer, that I found spicy and flavorful. A Belgian I could have many many times.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of jerc. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a large mostly-lasting foamy white head and lots of little floaties. Sweet aroma, a little sugary, lots of yeast along with some spices and alcohol. Flavourís also sweet with some yeast, some faint hops and a spicy/ alcoholic finish (also some bottle/metal in the finish) -- Iím not crazy about the aftertaste. Average body. Itís O.K. but itís a little too sugary sweet for me.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & blankboy - courtesy of jerc. Hazy light gold, tiny white head. Aroma is fruity, a bit spicey, Belgian yeast notes, not bad. Sweet flavour, a bit musty, dry finish with alcohol warmth. OK, but not especially memorable.

Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - bottle courtesy of jerc. Murky yellow-orange, small white head, floaties. Sweet candy malt aroma, like apple cobbler, yeast and alcohol. Taste is very sweet and yeasty, like a fruit pastry with tons of alcohol, has a very sharply bitter spicy/yeasty finish. Thick syrupy body, alcoholic and bitter mouthfeel, bitter almost harsh aftertaste. Considering how many times this has moved from fridge to fridge in the last year, acceptable - a little harsh
