330 ml. bottle. Pours an amber orange colour, with a big head that takes its time do fade, leaving a good lace. Smell of tropical fruits, spices (coriander, cloves), caramel... somedy said ripened cheese, I agree. Very sticky palate, full body. Taste of tropical fruits, caramel, sugar, honey, vanilla, spices. Great.

0.33l bottle. Deep golden body, huge white head. Aroma of bread, hay, pears, floral hops and some chamoagne yeast. Taste of bread, orange zest, floral hops and honey. Medium bodied and sweet, but the finish is quite bitter. Very nice beer.

bartlebier (2966) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2016
33cl bottle at Biere mit Stil 1: Worldwide Tripel Tasting@Bierhandlung Freiburg JAN2016. - Very headstrong W-Fl tripel, full of hop and other spices, taking it into speculatius/ginger cake extremes: cinnamon, white pepper, mace, vanilla. Sweet honeybread body, spiked with all of those phenols. Pretty unique and memorable within the style - not an instant favourite.

Orange gold pour creamy head. Aroma apples old hops, honey, barley. A little stale. Tastes rustic whole wheat grain firm bitter. grain flavor softens big booze. some clove. appley flavor overrides a lot of the good flavors though, oversimplifying it.

Moebbels (612) - FINLAND - DEC 31, 2015
A fairly clear orange body with small spheres of yeast floating around. The large, fluffy white head settles to a thin layer and leaves lacing on the glass. Nose has sweet notes of figs, raisins, spices, banana and sherry. Taste is sweet with a nice lingering bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation and rich palate with some warmth. Quite nice and well balanced tripel with nice aromas.

750ml bottle. Pours clear gold with thin white film of bubbles. Aroma is yeast, a little alcohol, caramel and dough. Slightly alcoholic taste, bitter, fine smooth carbonation. Yeast and bread after taste.

Bottle from Drinkshop. Sharp bite of alcohol is clearly present in this one, along with the rough burnt sugar and the characteristic spiciness which I do not like very much. Good tripel, but not my choice of Belgian beer.

Bottle at Hui’s place. Hazy orange with white head. Spicy yeast, peachiness, malty backbone. Too much alcohol. Backlog from 2014/11/01.

Backlog. Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 20.04.13. Dak golden, slightly unclear. Small CO2-bubbles. Aroma of candy sugar, tropical fruits, cloves and bitterness. Bitter taste with grapefruit. Malt sweetness in aftertaste. Round mouthfeel with above average carbonation. A relatively strong beer, with good drinkability.

Spore wysycenie, szczypiace w jezyk. alkohol zaskakujaco skutecznie ukryty. klasa
