A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, and so is the flavor, leading to a very dry end.

Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Orange coloured, cloudy with average head. Aroma of melon and toffee. Sweet and malty with sugary caramel flavour and clean malt profile. Salty, syrupy finish with some late harsh bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) The "Abt" is normally the top-product in a range of abbey-beers - and this is no exception from that rule. Dark golden with a fairly huge head. Fruity, spicy freshnes in spite of the very potent, warming alcohol. Some good hoppiness in the finish. A rather atypical Abt - but still nice. 061097

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a dense white head. Light spiced and mild caramel malt aroma. Flavour is light caramel and mild spiced. Lingering mix between spiced and caramel. Medium sweet and towards a light herbal finish.
