3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a very opaque amber/golden. Much lighter than some quads. Thin ring of white head. Slight amount of lacing. Nose is very fruity and slightly hoppy. A lot of dark fruits-plum, raisin, grape. Some toffee and honey. A slight earthy/grassy note. Mouth is rediculously sweet. A lot of honey, caramel, plum and raisin. There is a hoppy undertone but its minimal. This definitely tasted more like a tripel. A lot of carbonation and bitterness that lingers. A lot of sediment.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Couleur dorée, légèrement voilée. Bien ronde en bouche, pas trop sucrée pour une Belge. Elle ne fait pas ses 10°. Des notes de céréales, un peu épicée et assez longue en bouche.
Une très bonne bière Belge !

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
pours clear pale yellow with a tall frothy and creamy white head, excellent retention and strong lacing. spicy and sweet wort, very spicy in fact, but also grass, golden candi, coriander and cloves, honey, sulfur, hint of bananas and vanilla. almost cloying brew. lively carbonation - then settles, bold hopping - slight harsh too - grassy-spicy finish. an original take but doesn’t quite lift if to next level..

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light golden with a persistent and thick creamy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is composed of yellow fruits and spices. Phenolic. Taste is sweet but it doesn’t cloy. Some alcohol showing up in the mouth (it feels a little ’hot’). Flavors of cloves, pepper and light bananas. For sure some pears too. Again some harsh alcoholic notes. Carbonation level is high, body medium-full. Bah.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (330 ml). Clear bright golden with a small spotty, but persistent white head and little lacing. Aroma of honeyed malt, spices, banana, alcohol and fruits. Taste is moderately sweet with alcohol, cereals, spices and light fruits. Alcohol is not well hidden and is slightly burning. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Not complex and no balance... I don’t know what they wanted to do with this beer, but I don’t think they achieved it. Supbar Belgian.
