330ml Bottle. This pours a light golden body topped with a medium last head. Its aroma is floral and mildly sweet with hints of spices and hops. Its yasye is surprisingly malty with a citrus smoky finish with the slightest dry smoky linger. A very nice blonde this one.

Bottle 330ml. Pours hazy blond with low-medium white head. No serious lacing. Aroma is of fruits, spices. Taste is of grain, sugar, honey, herbal hops, some belgian yeast (fruits), spices, bitterness. Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Good belgian yeast action. Other than this: pretty straight-forward.

Une bouteille comme sur la photo. Un robe blonde dorée avec une mousse blanche. Un nez de levure belge avec des notes de blé (?). La bouche coule tout seul, marquée par la levure les saveurs sont intenses et agréables.

pours cloudy light golden with a creamy off-white head, good retention and lacing. spicy and doughy honeyed malts, very yeasty - cloves and pepper, but also a nice fruitiness - pear and pineapple juice, phenolic touch, dusty, woodsy, flower traces. lively to average carbonation - belgiany, light honey sweetness but a relatively dry and astringent grassy-citrusy-spicy finish. sweet-ish nicely crafted belgian ale.

The younger, ’weaker’, regular blonde version of Het Kapittel Abt, with creamy foam and peach blonde colour. Malty, fruity esters, some DMS (red cabbage) too; sweet main taste, even a bit cloying in the finish, which is insufficiently hopped to my taste. Nevertheless a well-rounded, honest and enjoyable session beer.

Pours clear gold with a thick head that fades to a thin cap as it continues to effervesce. Aroma of yeast, spice and grass. Taste is similar but doesn’t quite add up.

Pours a good golden with a medium white head that settles into a thin film and leave light lacing. Nose is of fruits, spices (pepper, light cloves) and sweet dough. Taste is moderately sweet, maybe a touch more than I’d like and lightly bitter. Flavors are once again fruity with some bananas, spices and some sweet grains. Body is medium, carbonation low to medium and alcohol is pretty well hidden. Overall it is better than I expected (I thought the Pater was horrid, at least the bottles I’ve had were) and actually pleasing.

Bottle (330 ml). Slightly hazy bright golden with a medium fully lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, herbal notes, light spiciness and cereals. Taste is yeasty and moderately spicy with malt and herbal presence. Very light metallic presence. Medium body. Medium carbonation (a tad fizzy). Moderately lasting herbal aftertaste. Light alcohol presence. Tasty and well executed Belgian Ale. Better than expected. Decent drinkability.
