I really like the aroma of beers from this brewery. Powerfull hops. A bit to sweet in flavor.

A malty and sweet beer. It is very warming and extremely full flavoured and complex with notes of dark fruit and spices. A great brew.

Quite malty and sweet. The beeer is not popular down under!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2002
Nice red brown colour. Sweet fruity aroma (cherries?). Nice fruity, lightly malty, and sweet flavour with a pretty long bitter finish. Perhaps not that well balanced, however. The beer becomes maltier (and better!) as it gets warmer; do not drink this too cold.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Kåstå (1221) - Mol, BELGIUM - OCT 8, 2002
Amber coloured with a big head. Short sweet taste. slightly sour. Dry aftertaste with some CaO.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 OlJuntan64 (1266) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2002
(sampled in Belgium - not Australia) Faint hazy red brown colour. Decent sized, large bubbled head with some nice lacing. Faint fruit, and hints of rotting wood yeast. Average smoothess and medium bodied. Start is mildly malty sweet and bigger bitter. The bitter and sweet components taste sorta separate and not well blended together. Bitter sweet fruity finish and soft aftertaste are pleasant enough.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 8, 2002
dark-red brown colour, nice creamy head, nice lace, malty and fruity with coffeish notes, sweet and bitter with a long dry fruity (plum) finish - fresher than most of the dubbels - yes, the Aussies definitely got a bad shipment ...
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2001
I guess the Aussies received a bad shipment. It’s not very special but certainly not awful. Not much aroma, some spices. Ruby colour with very nice head. Light sweet, some spices, some hops, sparkling. Finishes sweet with some hop bitterness.
