22/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ Erwinís place - BB: I/11 - (2012-743) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear red brown beer, big irregular head, little stable, adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: lots of dried fruits, raisins, oranges, caramel, subtle spices. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, dried orange peel, little bitter. Aftertaste: some cardboard, orange peel, some spices, little bitter in the end, raisins. Should try a bottle a bit fresher, the 6% doesnít keep more than 1.5 years past date.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark, clear, amber-brown, with a small, bubbly beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and bread. Taste is sugary sweet, bready, and metallic. Not that the aroma was spectacular, but the taste is really disappointing. Medium bodied, sticky.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Biggish beige head. Clear reddish brown body. Light licorice and flour aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweet burnt caramelly taste with earthy soy sauce notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty fruity aftertaste with spicy floral notes. Quite nice, but low on flavour. More flavour as the beer heats up, not no new flavours revealed. (0.3l draft at Belge, Helsinki.)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Draught at Belge, 20120503) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramell, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sugary sweetness, malts, grass, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Too thin and sweet to be really good.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle bought in a shop in Belgium. It had a smell of citris and oranges, also some metal. The taste was dominated by metal and and some citrus in the background. The metallic tone to this beer was to strong, felt like putting a couple of coins in my mouth and drinking.
