3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MrW (221) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2013
Sample of an 11 years old (2002) one @ZBF ’13.
Aromas of coffee, caramel, overripe prunes, sour.
Pours brown, cloudy, tan normal head quickly fading. Some sediments.
Coffee, caramels, toast with marmelade.
No carbo, light alcohol warmth, full taste. Refreshing for a dark beer, yet a bit of the vinous warmth. Aftertaste is short.
3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 StoutHead (230) - DENMARK - APR 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours a beautiful clear amber/reddish colour with a quickly disappearing off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and spices. Taste is quite sweet - and like the aroma with fruits. Mouthfeel is full and it has a short bitter aftertaste with lots of alcohol in it. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Patou (7) - FRANCE - MAR 15, 2013 does not count
330ml bottle.
Aroma: notes of caramel and raisins. Not that agreable
Taste: notes similar to the aroma. Rather strong in alcohol, vinous one. Rather agreable
Palate: Medium body, average/lively carbonation, rather bitter and abrupt finish
Overall: not my prefered beer but rather good and agreeable in overall
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 maekchu (1086) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 9, 2013
Notes from tasting session. A bit bland. Notthing really distinctive in aroma or flavors. Okay.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 RexTalionis (1420) - FINLAND - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours mahogny in color with a tan head. Dark fruits such as plums and dadels, some bready malty tones and light vinous notes in aroma. Pretty much the same elements are to be found in flavour,
but the dark fruits are not as noticeable as they were in the aroma. Dough maltynyess and them vinous notes in aftertaste. I like this brew, something intruiging about it. Perhaps it’s the vinous notes mixed
with the bready malts, almost dough like notes that makes it interesting, as I can feel there are some similarities to Westy 12 here.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dolpo (54) - USA - MAR 3, 2013
Buena pero sin llegar a ser muy especial.
Muchas marcas belgas tienen cervezas bastante superiores.
