This dark beer has been brewed with careful attention in accordance with our age old brewing tradition. It is a flavourful beer, tasting slightly bitter-sweet.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: grain and bread malts as a base, some sweets, caramel, sugar syrup. Appearance: clear, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: heavy bread malts, caramel, gets a bit dry in the finish, lively carbonation. Overall: decent Belgian Strong Ale, not quite at the top though, does not feel as well rounded as other examples. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

Quite malty beer with a shade of sugar cane. Somewhat refreshing for a dark brew. Caramel aftertaste.

Intense and complex floral nose that I liked a lot. The taste is light with hints of honey and caramel (a bit too sweet to my liking). Overall good but not great.
