This was an aged sample, golden clear with a small head. A fruity, berry-like aroma and taste and a rather unexpected dry bitter finish. Quite ok but noticeably aged.

Light amber coloured beer with a small to average white head and medium carbonation. Light hoppy aorma with some fruity malty touches. Full palate. Finish is bitter fruity, special and not bad.

Clear golden blond coloured beer with small off-white head and no carbonation visible. Sweet (candy) aroma. Full palate. Finish is bit sour, sirop like.

Slightly aged sample Little white rim; darker amber beer with mossy shine. Very syrupy at first, bit oxydized, and fruity nose, as sweet white portwine. Sweet, very fruity; oxydation is perfectly included in the berries’ flavour. I would expect some wheat, but that isn’t supposed to have been used. Bit syrupy, slick MF - this is the only minus point. Oily texture, medium bodied. Nice fruitbeer - more people ought to ask this from De Proef.

BartC (726) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - SEP 22, 2007
A bottle of 2001 at the OTS festival Geel 22nd september 2007. Orange hazy beer. Small white head. Grenadine-like aroma. Sour-bitter flavour that rapidly disappears leaving a raspbarry aftertaste. Strange and unpleasant. Maybe already to old. I’m very surprised nobody rated this one sooner. Hopefully I didn’t make any mistake.
