3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle: BBD 14 Nov 2015, shared between 5 at the December 2014 Shrewsbury Bottle Share meeting: cheers Mat for this offering. Nice amber hue to the colour, on top an off-white head. Aroma is an interesting blend of hops and semi-sweet maltiness, as is the taste. Citrus notes come and go, as does the malty sweetness, good blend. Hides the alcohol well and has enough flavour to savour each sip.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Bottle, Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 24 Aug 2014) Amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with grapefruit, resin, caramel and fresh citric hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, resin, caramel and an impressive citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Possibly a bit one dimensional, but very tasty with a lovely hop character. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber beer with small chunks of yeast in there and has a creamy dark off white head on top. Aroma is very hoppy, pine needles, grapefruit, light malts. Flavor is medium bitter with big grapefruit influences and a nice, juicy mouthfeel. Medium levels of carbonation and an ABV well hidden makes this a very pleasant beer to drink. Long, lingering juicy bitter finish. Good stuff!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the Wildeman, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is rich nettle hop, resin. The flavour is moderate bitter with a wood, gluey, resin hop, citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty of flavour and heavy bodied. A super beer but not one for a session!

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Burnt orange and a decent wee white head. Mango and melon, bright but fuzzy. Initial taste was soapy clementine and nit much else. Buzzy carbonation but it doesn’t end too vibrantly. Clean and more melon linger.
