Botte, ďakujem, Aďka. Black body with low beige head. Aroma has a lot of chocolate, caramel, light earthy background. Taste has high roasty bitterness, smoked bacon in the background, chocolate sweetness, little bit fruity. The smoke comes in the after taste for a long time. Body is medium, medium carbonation.

(Het Uiltje Ransuil) Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 10.5% Totally black colour on the body, small brown head sitting on top. Thick, with very good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. A bit spicy aroma with white pepper, old wood, chocolate, faint roasted malts, light acidity, very complex and appealing. Taste is also complex and weird in a way, definitely not your usual imperial stout flavour profile. Wood, roasted malts, olive pit, a bit of rubber or plastic that although sounds off, it ties up well, chocolate muffins. Thick body, creamy texture and sticky on the palate, soft carbonation. One of the better dutch imperial stouts I have had.

330 ml bottle. Pours a black colour with a beige creamy head. Aroma is rather rich with roastiness, cream, peat and salt water. Rich flavour of roasted malts, salty licorice, dark chocolate, peat, some wood, raisin and sweet caramel. Full bodied and a thick and bold mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Sweet, not overly peaty and quite well balanced. The amount of chocolate is rather interesting. Great stuff.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with a small tan head and an aroma of roasted malts, espresso, dark chocolate, cacao, licorice, toffee, vanilla and cinnamon. The taste is medium sweet with the alcohol really well hidden and a long bitter finish. This is a really good beer from a really nice brewery!
