Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: hazy dark blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: hoppy attack with grassy and floral notes. Caramel finish. Taste: full body with hoppy and grassy blast balanced with caramel malt and resin taste. Good attenuation and drinkable. Aftertaste: resin and dry bitterness. Very intensive pine and dry hops.

Hazy amber color out of the bottle with a fluffy egg shell colored head. Big nose of orange marmalade and hop resin. Thick mouth feel with lots of marmalade, apricot jam, pineapple, bitter orange peel, resin and pine notes. Chewy caramel sweetness. Solid IIPA.

23/I/16 - 33cl bottle @ Le Trappiste (Brugge) - BB: 10/VII/16 (2016-58)

Clear reddish amber beer, creamy irregular off-white to beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, pineapple, jam, malty, some honey, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pineapple, pretty bitter, caramel, malty, more bitterness, honey. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter, bit grassy, hoppy, resinous, piny, bit sweet, caramel, a bit too old probably.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color, topped with a medium sized but nicely lasting off white head. Very noticeable malty aroma, lots of biscuity and some caramel notes. A bit of fruity presence, and also quite resiny. Sweet and fruity start, moderate bitterness with some noticeable alcohol warmth. Strong and malty oriented. Medium full body.

330 ml bottle. BB 06/02/2016. From MrHangover (ELS). Thanks Johan!
Clear deep golden color with a small white head. The aroma is orange peel, orange jam, sweet fruitiness, cookies, mild bitterness and some soapy notes in the aroma. The flavor is resiny and sweet fruity hops, strong bitterness, grapefruit and sugary sweetness. Maybe a little bit too sweet but otherwise a very nice DIPA.

Bottled, thanks (Euro trade, was it Benzai? Or someone equally kind...) Cloudy amber, small head. Perfumy, peachy nose. Sweet and bready with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Gentle, slightly fruity and caramelly with some peach and spice. Peppery finish.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Hazy amber color, medium sized head. The hop has a jam character, but the bitter oranges are nice, and they blend well with the toffee quality of the malt; fairly sweet; there is a good character here, spicy too, zesty.
Maybe not too fresh, but it’s a good (expensive) beer.
