On tap at the Groningen Bierfestival. Dark amber in the glass, small head, nearly no CO2. Mango and smooth at the nose. Taste starts with a lot of, may be too much mango, caramell and a medium bitterness. Thinner to the end.

Slight hazy dark amber with medium off-white head. Light roasted grains, grapefruit, light pine. Not a lot of sweetness, finishes with medium bitterness. Medium bodied, slight watery dry finish. Not very hoppy or fruity, maybe this bottle was a bit older?

(Drinking date: 20 March 2014) Lovely intense hoppy aroma, really fruity and citrussy. Grapefruit aroma, but also a bit of malts and caramel. The beer looks really good. Hazy, amber-coloured beer, with a layer of white/beige creamy foam. The taste is bitter and fruity, bitterness from darker malts, and also fruity-bitterness from the hops. It is bitter, but not too bitter. The taste is good, with a bitter aftertaste, also a bit of darker malts. This beer misses a bit of power in the taste. However, the power seems to be on the aftertaste, it leaves a bit of a warm feeling together with a fruity and bitter taste behind in your mouth and throath, which makes you want to take an other sip of this refreshing, fruity beer, and this continues untill you don?t have any of this beer any more! :) I really like this beer, one of the better IPA beers I have had! Intense hoppy aroma, good bitter taste of darker malts and bitter hops, and a not too thin mouthfeel. That?s why I give it the total score of 3.9! :)

Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip glass. ABV 4.5% Amber colour on the body, tall off-white head, with good density and after collapsing to half its size excellent retention. Light lacing left behind. Aroma is nicely hoppy and fruity, some malts and toffee too. Nice taste with the hoppy bitterness kicking straight away in. A bit malty, fruity with tropical fruits, even more bitter on the aftertaste. Medium body, good carbonation with a small bite at the end. Very good, refreshing and with low alcohol, would be great on a hot day.

Bottle from the bierkoning. Amber-copper pour with white head. Nice hoppy aroma, really fruity, tropical, pineapple with some piney aromas as well. Taste is hoppy, mildly bitter, light caramel maltiness, fruity hop juice. Palate is light bodied, med carbonation, easy drinking.
