Courtoisie de Benzai lors du RBBSG 2015. Thank you dude!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hema Culemborg. Clear yellow with a big white head. Citrushops in the front, malts in the back. Taste is fairly bitter en mouthfeel is, given its ABV, pretty good. Nice session beer.

Draft at Uiltje Bar. Caramel, some lemon, apple, light bitter, malty and sweet. Had better hoppy beers of Uiltje.

Really nice and strong aroma of grassy pine with lots of citrus. Nice dark yellow, brown red like colour with a nice off white head. Copper and haylike taste with a pretty soft bitterness. Nice citrus and copperlike aftertaste.

Aroma has lots of pineapple, citrus, some grass. Galena? Little hazy, golden coloured beer with a medium, frothy head. The taste is moderate bitter, dry, has pineapple, citrus, some herbal tones. Pretty good.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from Caigny. BBF 06/2015. Surprisingly dark burned sugar amber, big collapsing off-white fluffy head. Nice lacing. Smell is weak, herbal, sugary, light brown sugar, caramel. Taste is odd sweetish caramel malts, cooked apple, sugar, herbal sweetish, small touch cough syrup, caramel, odd, light in the way of bitterness, some light sweetish herbal & earthly hop-like qualities but this is closer to cough syrup than anything hoppy,… Brown sugar, light malt, touch oily body,… Is this too old. This is just far too malty for what it should be & too bland. This is the problem with BBF dates, I never know how much time they added & according to the brewery this is still good / optimal to drink.
