Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel - light toffee and light tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit/piney hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and faint sourness, light tropical fruitiness, light - some piney/grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, light caramel and faint sourness with light tropical fruitiness, light - some piney/light grapefruit hoppyness. Bit watery (well it is sIPA) with weird notes of sourness in the flavor/finish. Nice head though.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2016 Woooow. The first sip sold me. But letís start with the appearance first. The beer looks like any other IPA, except for the color. Itís a bit darker than most times. The color of the beer is a nice dark amber. The beer is quite clear, but a little cloudiness is present. On top of the beer, a thick frothy layer of slightly tinted foam is formed. The beer stays on top of the beer for a very long time. Itís remarkable. Iíve never seen a foam like this. The smell is devine. Woow. Itís the typical IPA smell, but than perfect. Itís so hoppy. I smell delicious lychees, citrus fruits, lemon zest and especially grapefruit. The smell also has some floral hops in it. The smell is in such a great balance. There are sweets of the citrus aromas, which also cause some sourness and bitters of the hops. The taste is just as great. There are again these amazing hop notes. There are citrus aromas, which give a delicious zesty bitter and sour, but also sweet flavor. Itís very fresh. The hop flavors are a delicious source of bitterness. Besides this delicious hops, there is also a delicious touch of malts. Itís a little roasted, little salty. I donít have seen this a lot in IPAís. This is one of the best IPAís Iíve ever tasted. It has all the things an IPA should have, plus more. The salty and slightly smokey roast flavor give the beer so much extra. I love it. I need more of this.

Bottle Lapero beer shop Taipei. Orange brown, not much head. Barley sugar hop aroma. Toffee hop flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Ok but a bit too sweet for a pale ale.

Unclear copper colored, small white not very lasting head. Aroma is of some caramel malt, medium hoppiness, citrus and fruity. Taste is medium- sweet caramel malt, maybe bit biscuit, mostly fruity, grassy and then grapefruity hops, moderate aroma, medium- bitterness, dryish finish. Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, watery. Decent one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber coloured, vigorous foam, the smell is very hoppy, slightly toward tropical fruits, but with a bit of a funkiness to it. Not a traditional amber beer, it tastes more like a generously hopped american pale ale. Nice amounts of bitterness, and also quite a bit of saltiness in the post-taste. A good, sessionable drink, though not extraordinary in any way.

Muddy/murky pour with off-white head. Bit fruity, bit roasted. Slight watery dry finish. Less hoppy than expected. Maybe bad bottle? Backlog from 2014/04/04.
