Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Opaque brown color, small off-white to beige head. Smell burned and roasted malts, alcohol, sweetness and lightly herbs. Taste malts, chocolate, roastyness and bitter. A bit thin, but not too bad for 6,8% ABV. Pretty nice.

Dark brown color, small beige head. Sour, toasted aroma with hints of vegetables. Medium-bodied. Sour flavor, coffee, dark malts, licorice. Some tobacco aftertaste. Unfortunately unclean.

Bottled. Deep brown colour, small head. Aroma is sour wood, berries and yeast along with some mild leathery notes. Flavour is sour berries, leathery notes, yeast, mild chocolate.

Nice dark colour. Head is white, surprisingly. Decent porter

Bottle, bought in Zwolle. Dark brown color, cloudy. Just hints of coffee, roast and speculaas in the aroma. Sweet, slightly roasty flavor with apple and pear. Goes down very easily but lacks power and strenght.
