Bottle 300ml.

[ As Hettingabier Hanze Tripel ].
Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume, moderate yeasty, leather, soap, candy, light tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, candy yeast, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120317]

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear deep golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, little liquorice and a little orange peel. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, high carbonation, yeast, fruit, little liquorice, spices and little bitter.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Yeast, fruit and spices. Sweet alcohol and spices. Medium bodied. Overcarbonated.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of grass and yeast, with a touch of tropical fruit. Sweet fruity and yeasty flavour. High carbonation

Decent tripel. Very warming, tingling alcohol is the mark of this beer. Dry finish. Bottle from Burg Bieren.

30 cl bottle from Burg Bieren. Yellow-golden color, hazy, almost white and retaining head, decent lacing. Aroma’s of sweet fruit (apricot/tutti frutti/orange peel), peardrops, a hint of spices. Flavor is mildly sweet. Finishes a bit dry, but no new flavor. Decent, but not remarkable.

33cl bottle. No head. Hazy blond colour. No carbonation.

Bottled (BB 09/2009) Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy orange-amber color, small steady white head. Nose is sour with some candy sugar and orange peels. Medium-bodied. Sweetish candy sugarish flavor, a bit sour, yeasty. Too sweet, too yeasty, not enough triple-like and maybe a bit off.

Bottled. Hazy golden ambery colour, small beige head. Aroma is grass, sour wood, herbs as well as some spices. Flavour is sour wood, mildly toffeeish with a bunch of spices mixed in.

Bought in a farmers cheese shop in Zwolle. Bottled. Blonde, cloudy. Tangerine and fresh cheese in both aroma and flavor. Just a hint of flowery hops. Pineapple aftertaste. Decent, but I wonder how long it keeps its quality.
