A later sample during the RBESG 2009 in Sheffield gave a more pronounced grassy hop character.

Golden with good white head. Malty aroma. Bready taste with some subtle herbal notes.

Würzig-hopfiger Antrunk, der sofort konstant gehalten wird und sich nicht mehr verändert. Danach nur wenig herb, süffig, absolut darauf ausgelegt. Zum Ende minimal bitter, im Nachgeschmack steigert sich dies auch noch etwas. Ein nettes Vollbier, typisch für die Gegend. 6/9/9/9/9/9

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear dark golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is grassy hops and bready malts Grassy and grainy flavor with a lot of dry perfumey hops. Smooth palate. Dry lasting bitter end.

It’s medium golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, clover-flower and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, spicy hops, bread, flower, caramel and the finish is dry with notes of straw.

Nice caramely malt aroma with some corn. Clear gold with white dots surrounded by a white ring. Corny malt with very weak hay hops. Light body, moderate carbonation, clean finish if a tad bitter.

Floral aroma. White head. Clear golden coloured hoppy and a little sweet on the palate with a slightly bitter malt finish.

Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Clear gold, lasting off white head. Good lager, tasty malts, and a bit nutty.

Sweet aroma of hay and caramel.
Sweet flavour of hay, caramel and hops.

Cloudy golden with a tiny white head. Sweet aroma with malty and caramel notes. Sweet flavour with malty, caramel and hoppy notes. Finished bitter.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and grain. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a bit of spices, leading to a dry spicy and bitter finish. Thanks Timo.
