UPDATED: OCT 15, 2012 Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a fine, white foam head. Sugary bread nose, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor with tons of sugary caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with more caramel. Pretty one-dimensional, but I suppose that’s about all you can expect of most bocks.

Bottle. Amber, hazy, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light toffee with light bread. Medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light bread. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, light caramel and light bread with light alcohol. Sweetish bock with some caramel - that’s it.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Amber color. Sweet bready and raisiny aroma. Sweet bready, toffeish and slightly raisiny flavor. Fairly sweet, bready and mellow, could have something more punchy.

Koelschtrinker (8461) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011
