MoritzF (7137) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2006
(can) Clear amber colour with a medium-sized, not very lasting foamy off-white head. Dusty, sweet and slightly toast-malty aroma with honey and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, smooth carbonation. Sweet malty initial taste, slightly fruity (honey), sweet malty strong and lasting finish. According to the high ABV, the alcohol is fairly well integrated, certainly present and warming, but not offensive, nor rough. The first one of its style I do really like.

Boletus (52) - POLAND - APR 27, 2006
Orange-brown, head is dense and stable. Milk chocolate and coffee in aroma. Well balanced and smooth in the mouth, hot chocolate, toast, rum, almonds, licorice, some citrus notes. Very rich but not too heavy.

Beerdedone (2188) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2006
UPDATED: APR 26, 2006 Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours an amber-copper with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and citrus. Flavor is of mostly sweet malt, drinkable.

JohnnyOS (646) - Golden, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 28, 2006
Pours slightly hazy caramel amber with thin egg-shell head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, brown sugar and toffee with mild peach undertones. Flavor matches aroma with a slightly bitter sweet malty finish.

NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 28, 2006
Courtesy of Crizay <P> Aroma is sweet caramel, toffee candy. Amber body with a thin white head. Sweet smooth malt in the fore evokes honey dipped sweet bread with a very hard toffee candy finish. Not what I was expecting-in a good way. Very full flavored with a nice mouthfeel.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2006 Light orange, white head. Orange citrus hoppy flavor, big maltiness, some butterscotch, sweet aftertaste. Good beer

bobaidan (433) - Southington, Connecticut, USA - MAR 20, 2006
Pours a medium amber with a nice head. Aroma is floral hops. Flavor is mostly hops with some sweet malt coming through. A slight metallic flavor is in the background. Not enough to be really bothersome. Teh alcohol is very well hidden. Leaves a bitterness on the tongue. Not really my style, but nothing offensive here.

GreatLibations (1771) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - FEB 22, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2007 Brew pours a deep, slightly hazed honey color producing a medium sized, thick head. Head retention is decent leaving behind a dusty canopy and a slighty fluffy ring. Aromas of sweet malts and peach pit. Full nectar w/ moderate residual effers producing a creamy texture. Nice! Huge malts w/ a moderate sweetness support a peach pit bittering comonent that digs in. The flavors are very old world and rustic. Theres a defined alcohol presence. Nuances from the tropical region yet aged and musty. A little vanilla, honey, caramel, figs, and dates. The finish is bittered well w/ the peach pit factor leaving the palate w/o the sweetness to contend with. Good balance.
