3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark Golden pour with thin white head, Feint malty nose.
Bready sweet malts up front give way to drier hops. Creamy body. Slightly Sticky bitter finish with a hint of alcohol.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 bottle. Nice, clear amber color and a white head. Dough and vanilla in the nose, some grains and spices with caramel are present too. Taste is somewhat alcoholic but does not destroy the sensation; kind of spicy - slightly irritates the tongue; more malty than hoppy but neither of them is especially prominent. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation. Finish is medium-long at best, somewhat sweeter and more gentle. Overall the beer is really good for its style, it handles the amount of alcohol quite well only letting a bit of it out in the taste.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle enjoyed on the train ride north to Peekskill with Andrew and Brian. Not sure how the body on this one looks, as this was taken down purely in bottle format. Aroma is light, sweet malt, light breadiness and faint spice. Nothing offensive here, with some additional notes of skunky hops. Easy drinking lager with apparently a decent amount of alcohol. A nice brown bag option.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle. Somewhat sweety taste with banana nutes, you can feel the power of this beer whilst drinking it; delicate bitter palate. White and thick foam. Cooper-like colour. Good beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a small white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild caramel with some cereal grains and grass. Taste is a grainy malty sweetness with some grassy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. One of the better strong brews that I have tried from Poland, give it a try you may be surprised.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden colour with a white head. Fruity and rich malty aroma. Sweet malty and light fruity. Not that heavy alcohol taste either.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a large head consisting of fine white bubbles that surprisingly sicks around for a while. The aroma reminds me of a fine malt liquor - grape drank, bubblegum, refined sugar candies. Taste is sweet malts, cotton candy, amusement park fried dough. Nice. Perhaps a little cough syrup in there as well. Fuck yeah, bitchez! Sippin on the syrup! Finishes with a alcoholic kick, which is good because I’m an alcohol. FUCK YOUSE ALL UNLESS YOU LIKE KAPER!!!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500mL bottle. Poured medium golden with a short, well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted honey and bready malts with light fruit and perfumey accents.. sweet and strong, just as expected. The flavor found peppery spicage on the tip of the tongue, with warm corn and bready sugars behind.. black pepper and herbal bitterness around.. finished spicy with decent balance. Medium-bodied with low-moderate carbonation on the palate.. spicy.. decent stuff.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hevelius Kaper has a thin, soapy, off-white head and a semi-clear, somewhat bubbly, orange appearance. There is not much lacing here. Aroma is mild, but one can detect some bread and a little molasses. Taste is of brown bread (think Roman Meal brand), caramel, sweetness, and a decent underneath hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Hevelius Kaper finishes pretty crisp, mostly dry, and surprisingly easy drinking. This is so different from high-gravity American lagers. I think it is very good, and I recommend giving it a try. RJT
