1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Amber golden, puffy white head. Aroma is metallic, syrupy, rough. Taste is again brutally sweet, bready, syrupy, and just no good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is the beer I find most emblematic of the given style. Copper-orange color, can’t sustain head. Mostly clear, yet dense looking. Sweet malt nose with big alcohol chops. Hint of vanilla. Taste is exactly what is expected - very sweet yet biting. Thick feel, long bitter finish. Burns the esophagus. A rare beer where the high proof itself carries the day. Much enjoyed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light ambergold, small off white head. Malty alcohol, caramel with a light body. Decent, but not good enough to tempt me to buy it again.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml bottle pours a clear amber color with a light head and a little lacing. The aroma is the most memorable part of this beer: caramel malt and definite alcohol. Taste is sweet with noticeable carbonation. Pleasant for the price, and lots classier than a malt liquor.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
11/29/11. 500mL bottle. Clear amber pour under a very small khaki head that fades to a ring and barely laces at all. Sweet caramel aroma with plenty of fusel alcohol. Sweet caramel flavor as well with bread and more fusels... methinks this is basically a malt liquor but even thicker. Blegh.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice bright copper color with a medium-sized off white head that leaves a little bit of lacing. Aromas of grain, malt and alcohol. Flavors of some fruit, caramel and toffee with a slightly harsh alcoholic finish. Light to medium bodied with a nice crisp finish. Overall this was okay.......not bad for the price I guess.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Great floral aroma, sweet light malts, saaz hops. Eh flavor falters, dense pils malts, this would’ve been much better with lighter malt bill. Pilsner finish.
