COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg; Regular

Heverlee lager is based on a 12th-century recipe from the Norbertine monks of Park Abbey, in the Belgian town of Heverlee.
We blend the subtle sweetness wrought by a malt and maize mash with the distinctly bitter aroma of Saaz - the world’s most expensive hop - to create a deliciously refreshing Belgian Pils style beer.

Keg. Pours clear golden. Nose is grain, malts, metal. Tastes similar, basic cheap lager.

4.8%abv. Drank tap in Queen Margaret Union. Light golden colour with rich white head. Waterish aroma, waterish taste and boring palate. Disappointed.

Sweetish, agreeable lager with a lightly malted finish. There's not much complexity there but it's an enjoyable accompaniment to, say, Champions League football. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ahh when a beer nerd see the name Belgian in the name. Yeha bring it to me. Must be interesting. Well I can assure you: this is not interesting. Plain dull light lager. Nothing wrong with it. Not much to write home about either.

500th "Scottish" rate. Full bodied malt led golden lager with some ester spices character and low bitterness. It’s pretty decent but doesn’t need all the schtick around it.

On draft at the Kintyre Club Steakhouse. Pours a clear golden yellow with a one finger, fluffy off white head that leaves mild lacing and carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass. Aroma has notes of fruity esters, grains, and some slight spicy/earthy hops. Taste is balanced. Slight candy sugar, fruit salad, grains, caramel, and some traditional hops. Medium body with a medium-high carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a bit of syrup. Overall an interesting beer. Grains, slight caramel, fruity esters, and very slight candy sugar.

Pours pale yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma of skunk and grain. Slightly skunked flavor with some corn and grain. Not much else.

Pours a clear lager yellow with a white head. The nose is faint grain. Palate is light body. Taste is mild bitterness with slight malty sweetness but not as sweet as Budweiser. The free glass is great.

Bue à la pression. Classique lager jaune dorée, à peine effervescente. Nez levure citron. Rafraîchissante, finale courte. Dans la moyenne des lager.
