COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Western North Carolina take on the West Coast style IPA. Huge citrus hop aromas make this a Hop Head’s dream. Its full body balances well with the bitterness and allows the drinker to enjoy its depth of hop flavors and aromas.

12 oz. looks to be bottled May 19, 2015. Pours mostly clear orange-copper with a lasting disc of foam. Nose is peppery grapefruit zest, resin, soap, mineral and a touch of caramel. Flavors of toast, mineral water, green herb, resin, grapefruit, ash, metal and toffee. Big muddle, but not awful. Light-medium body borders on too much fizz.

Alisa brougt this one back for me from a trip to North Carolina. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-toffee color with a large creamy orange-tan head hta tlingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sour caramel, mlaty, citrus, pine and earthy. The flavor was bitter, sour caramel, pine, citrus, earthy and tobacco. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

It’s an OK beer, with a weirdly strong early palette that fades out quickly. I’d put this one in the middle of the pack.

Pours a deep brownish orange hue with a one finger, off white head. Pine and yeast on the nose. Orange, Brown sugar, tangerine, yeast, sharp bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with ample carbonation. Decent ipa but muddled and all over the place on the back end.

Floral and piney hoppy aroma with unfiltered roasted malty taste. Hops balance nicely the good amount of roasted malt. Unfiltered and has a hazy malt taste. Bitter piney finish, but subdued. It is different, and the unfiltered makes it a bit odd, but it is enjoyable. Almost a caramel maltiness and get some orange citrus to the hops as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark golden orange. Graham cracker and bread dough with pepper and some spice. Older hops, a bit of brown sugar. Decent mouthfeel. Very light malt presence and ultra light hops. Pretty much a pine cone and pine needle taste throughout. Low IBU.

12 oz. bottle. Poured light copper with skim of head present. Caramel malt, mildly bitter grass and piney finish. Dry. Little boring.
