This true American Lager is made with 100% Pilsen malt with a delicate body and light hop profile. Lagered in the tradition of the style to full maturity. It’s a break from the typical craft American beer scene.

12 ounce bottle retrieved from North Carolina and served in a lager glass. Appearance: Surprisingly clear for an unfiltered beer. Amber-yellow body. Modest size white head has good retention and leaves decent lacing. Aroma: Suggests more hops than malts, with hints of pepper and citrus. Flavor: Malt dominated up front with the hops quite subtle until the finish and aftertaste. Slightly bitter, herbal and lemony. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Finish dry and crisp. Overall: A refreshing, somewhat bready lager beer that should work well with many foods.

Very Mild smell like a maltier cheap beer, can’t see appearance in red solo cup...(no glasses at mellow mushroom due to disaster) very average beer...better than the standard fair but only by a bit...a bit maltier and more flavor

Bottle at Wally & Brianna’s wedding. Pours a clear golden body with soft white lacing. Aroma is pale malt, bread and light malt character. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp with notes of soft bread, malt, caramel malt, fresh grass and light grains. Another decent, clean Pilsner offering great for a wedding.

Draft to taster at Hi-Wire. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized whitish head. The aroma and flavor have grainy malts that have a bready character, grass, a splash of lemon, hay, some mineral notes, fairly bland overall.

A bit light and a bit "bubbly" for my taste. Decent light beer of you prefer that. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle - $2.00 at Tasty Beverage Co. in Asheville, North Carolina. Appearance: A lightly hazed, rich yellow body with half an inch of white suds. Faint lacing on the way home. Smell: Subtle nose of pilsner malt with a slight tinge of crisp grains, peppery herbs and citrus. Taste: Pils malt, a tad grainy and scantly sweet. Lightly herbal, lemony hops with ample balancing bitterness. Finishes out dry and clean. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Spot-on refreshment!

Location: 12 oz bottle from Bruisin’ Ales, 1/2/15

Aroma: The nose is clean and malty, light lager malts, grains, and some grassy notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a thin white head and spotty lace
Flavor: The flavor is rather clean with a light sweetness, grainy malts, and light grassy bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, clean lager mouthfeel, and an average-to-lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really enjoyable lager. Helps to clear up the stereotype of flavorless pale/watery beers that is all to common with this style. The nose is a little thin, but otherwise, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. One of the best lagers I have tried recently.
