12oz bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a light yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light lagered notes. Light sweet, pale malts. Grassy notes. Flavor was about the same, crisp and grassy. Okay.

Multiple tap-pours at Pour Taproom, Asheville. Clear straw, spotty lace. Nicely grassy hop aroma. Taste is clean, mild sugar, grassy hop balance. Refreshing, very good. A nice surprise.

Hazy golden color with a pillowy white head, grainy and sweet with a subtle grassy hop bite in the finish, fairly crisp and clean overall, decent enough for what it is and I like that itís unfiltered, but itís not my favorite of the mix pack; great label artwork is a nice bonus; 12 fl oz bottle.

brokensail (15600) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 14, 2015
Bottle @ Days Inn Charleston. Clear golden colored beer with white foam. Soft biscuit and doughy malts to the aroma. Thereís a good bit of apple esters, too. Maybe a hint of straw? Pretty light in terms of flavor, which I suppose is the point. Easy drinking and moderate sweetness of bread, grain, and ripe apple. Pretty decent.

12 oz. Lightly foggy straw color with a lasting film of cream. Crisp nose of lemongrass and toast. Flavors of wheat toast, dried grass, lightly tart citrus and touches of overripe apple and cardboard. Light-plus body has medium fizz and a drinkable crispy slant to the malt/hop balance.

chinchill (4113) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 26, 2015
12 ounce bottle retrieved from North Carolina and served in a lager glass. Appearance: Surprisingly clear for an unfiltered beer. Amber-yellow body. Modest size white head has good retention and leaves decent lacing. Aroma: Suggests more hops than malts, with hints of pepper and citrus. Flavor: Malt dominated up front with the hops quite subtle until the finish and aftertaste. Slightly bitter, herbal and lemony. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Finish dry and crisp. Overall: A refreshing, somewhat bready lager beer that should work well with many foods.
