Just too much of a banana note to be truly enjoyable. This just screams SMOOTHIE, instead of beer...one for the Ladies

Can in Takayama. Heavy on the bananas, very heavy. Slightly spicy as well, reminiscent of witbeer almost. Somewhat heavy for a weizen, slight malty/hoppiness on finish, decent.

Tap. Looks like your average hefe; typical banana-clove with a little extra zing and some more spice to it compared with normal. Crisp mouthfeel, a bit sugary.

Draft at Bakushu Club Popeye on March 31st. Golden hazy with nice head. Good banana aroma. This weizen has a nice smooth body with a very good sweet and acid balance. Banana play also a good role in the flavors.

This light brown brew has a light brown thin head with apples, spice and wheat in the nose. The body has some good apple pie character with a good amount of sweet and sour attributes, while the finish is once again sour. A well balance beer that is very interesting.
