Cask. Reddish copper coloured with mediumsized slightly off-white head, which last for a while and leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramelly malty along with some slight fruity and berryish notes and mild nuttyness. Flavour is fruity, nutty, some slight berryish notes as well. Semi-dry finish with a slight grassy touch to it.

imdownthepub (7146) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold with white head. Quite a nutty bitter, hazelnut dryness with a dry tea flavour mixed in, not a favourite combination, but quite drinkable. Pretty standard overall.

maeib (6398) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2009 Cask conditioned handpump Brunswick Derby. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is plain with a little fruit skins, and some sweet malts. The taste is malty to start with some citrus flavours coming through later. A bit boring. Made me realise why I rarely drink pints.

larsga (4431) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 18, 2009
Small coarse white head. Amber body. Faint fruity floral aroma. Sweet-dryish earthy prunes taste with papery floral notes. Mid-bodied. A bit cloying. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Dryish papery caramel aftertaste. Decent, but a bit boring, and a bit cloying. (0.25l cask, The Edgar Wallace, London.)

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Gold with a loose off-white head; fruity aroma; malty tasting with a slight citrus edge; dry and moderately bitter finsh. A forgetable bitter.
