tap at the brewpub last summer - Pours a murky copper color and smells of yeast and dark fruit. It tastes sweet and fruity with Belgian yeast spice and very minimal hops presence. It’s alright though a bit underwhelming for the style.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber-brown with a white head. Aroma of sweet fruity malt, raisin, and apple skins. Flavor of sweet and fruity malt, lots of apple, some spices. Malt dominant. It was ok overall. 6/4/7/4/13 [3.4/5]

On tap at the brewpub. Clear but very dark copper with small to medium beige head. Aroma is yeast, dark fruit and slight alc. Flavor iis dark fruit mollases, sweeter dough, some alc, nice. Medium body, a little creamy. Tasty and in style, I can dig it.

on tap at the brewery. from a brandy barrel aged batch. aroma is very brandy/alcoholy, mild yeasty notes in the background. flavor is sweet, brandy and fruity. very tasty stuff. not sure how the non-barrel aged is, but it sure is good with the brandy notes.

Yellowish color. Very sweet, but nice medium body. Fruity aroma and taste---with no hops.

On tap: The aroma has strong raisin notes, alcohol, and very faint apple. It’s a transparent amber with a small off-white ring for a head. The flavor starts with faint banana, apple, yeast, and raisin. The finish has an increased apple presence with some faint alcohol.

on tap at hideout; nice reddish brown appearance with minimal off-white head...aroma is full of fruits and sugars (mainly dark fruits--berry)..flavor is very similar, with added spices; this beer was heavy in sugar; nice palate

On tap at Hideout. Red-brown clearish body, thin light tan head. Aroma of banana and clove in addition to brown sugar, dark fruit, and toast. Estery body, with cloves, other spices, and some banana as well as toast and dark fruits which intensify as the beer warms. Becomes sweeter and more sugary at warmer temperatures. Hints of chocolate complement the fruit and spice. Fairly complex with a nice mouthfeel. Well-done.
