black color, dinky tan head, some nice lace. nose of roasty malt, chocolate. flavor is reosty and sweet malt. medium bodied, clean finish. nice roastiness, a touch too sweet perhaps.

On tap at The Hideout Brewpub. Deep brown with a medium lasting tan topper. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and maple. Taste of darker malts, a hint of smoke, coffee and mild fruit.

On tap at the brewery. Almost opaque dark brown wiith small, creamy beige head. Aroma is smokey and chocolate with roast. Flavor is pretty smokey as well with a noticable sweet roast. Medium to light body, slightly water with light carbontion. I can dig on the smoke but there is nothing much else ging on.
